Celebs are cheating their way to their dream beach body by wearing BELTS with their bikinis – and it shrinks your waist in seconds

SKIMPY straps, high cut legs and plunging necklines – swimwear trends this summer have left us with nothing to hide, including our far-from-perfect beach bodies.

But the latest fashion movement, loved and utilised by celebs across the globe, is helping to give women a smaller waist in seconds – and all with the help of one extra piece of material.

While summer swimwear will normally strike fear in women, BELTED bikinis are here to save the day – with celebrities already using them to cinch in their waists.

Already, reality stars like Love Island's Zara McDermott and Kady McDermott, and The Apprentice winner Sian Gabbidon have been spotted sporting the hot new look.

Model Demi Rose even added a belt to a skimpy bikini to get the same effect without having to scrimp on showing some flesh.

And further afield, Israeli model Hofit Golan, Victoria's Secret angel Romee Strijd and Kardashian sisters Khloe and Kylie are also giving it a go – all with waist-cinching results.

Using the buckles around their middle, either sewn on to the material or mix-and-matched on top of a bikini, the celebs have discovered it's sure fire way to cheat your way to a more slender look.

"Belted swimwear is the most flattering of all the big trends this summers, as it cinches your waist and enhances all your curves," explains Clemmie Fieldsend, deputy fashion editor at The Sun.

"They give your figure more definition and a sleeker silhouette by pulling in at the waist, where the belt should be situated for the best effect."

And the look appears to work for everyone, from bustier girls like Jess Wright, who posed in a snakeskin number whilst holidaying in America, to those who are tall and slender like Montana Brown.

The look is even suitable for mums who might want to keep a little more modesty, as Billie Faiers chose a polka-dot belted swimsuit for her trip to the Maldives.

Clemmie adds: "A one piece can sometimes make your body look like one block of colour or pattern, but the added belt gives the look more interest and breaks up your proportions to give you your figure back.

"Belted swimwear with high-cut legs create an amazing illusion of legs that go forever, while plunge styles are ideal for enhancing your bust.

"As long as that belt cinches in at the waist, it's a look that any woman with any figure can pull off."
