Blind date show hopeful is stunned to discover her final choice has a GIRLFRIEND
Alexa Moreno, 18, chose Joseph Haynes, 25, on YouTube channel Jubilee's series 10 vs 1 – but he waited until after she picked him to admit that he has a girlfriend.
The episode saw the Californian student question ten male contestants from behind a screen before narrowing the group down to two.
She eventually chose Joseph, who lives between Chicago and Los Angeles, and described himself as a musician and actor who is studying political science and wants "to be President of the United States".
After setting eyes on each other for the first time, the pair hugged.
Clearly pleased with her choice, Alexa told him: "I didn't really envision you looking like anything, but I'm really happy you're cute.
"And I hope this can kind of go somewhere I guess."
But, Joseph then shocked her by replying: "Well, I've got a girl. You're awesome though."
Trying to work out whether she had been pranked or not, the teenager asked the camera: "Did this just happen?"
A producer could then be heard saying: "You have a girlfriend?"
The contestant replied: "I do."
He was then asked: "Then why did you show up? We asked for single people."
Joseph then revealed that his girlfriend knew he was participating and she said it sounded like a "cool" experience.
Later on, speaking again to the camera, Alexa admitted she thought it had been a big joke she wasn't in on.
She continued: "I totally went into this thinking I would end up with somebody who was single and looking.
"I'm not hurt or anything. I'm just confused as to why he was here. I'm happy he has a girlfriend, I guess. He's like genuinely a really cool person."
