Zendaya Hit the 2022 Oscars Red Carpet in Half a Shirt, and It's Glorious

Zendaya has officially arrived at the 2022 Oscars! The actress walked the carpet in a silk white half-shirt and shimmery silver skirt that trailed behind her on the red carpet. Zendaya’s movie Dune is nominated for a few Oscars this evening (including Best Picture, which is a very big deal), and while she was only in the movie for about 7 minutes, she still made a huge impact. (Which, of course she did. She’s Zendaya!)

A few days before Zendaya walked the carpet, her longtime stylist and friend Law Roach talked to Cosmopolitan about working with the actress. “We’ve been together for so long,” Law said. “Fashion is secondary to our love for each other as people and as family. That’s my sister, you know what I mean? So that’s what’s important to us—that we continue to nourish our relationship as brother and sister.” Despite their many fashion moments together, he said the best part about their relationship is that fashion is actually “secondary” to it.

He wasn’t the only one gushing about Zendaya before she hit the carpet, either. Becky G took a second to gush about Zendaya during the Oscars as well.

Honestly, whatever the secret to her collaboration with Law is, it’s clearly working. I mean, LOOK at this look. Leave it to Zendaya to give 100 percent on the red carpet with only 50 percent of a shirt.
