Val Kilmer Dishes On Romances With Cher, Cindy Crawford, Angelina Jolie & More!

Val Kilmer is single, though it’s not clear if he’s ready to mingle!

As we previously shared, the typically private star is opening up in his new memoir, and is spilling the tea about some of the most famous women in Hollywood.

In excerpts from I’m Your Huckleberry shared with People, he writes:

“I haven’t had a girlfriend in 20 years. The truth is I am lonely part of every day.”

He added:

“I’ve always found women infinitely more interesting than men. Perhaps that’s why we’ve always gotten along. We are big oafy elephants … and they are butterflies.”

The Top Gun star has been involved with several high-profile ladies, including Cindy Crawford, Angeline Jolie, and Cher, but his breakup with Daryl Hannah was “the most painful” of them all:

“Lord knows I’ve suffered heartache. But Daryl was by far the most painful of all.”

He dated the actress in 2001, and she is now married to singer-songwriter Neil Young. Kilmer wrote:

“Neil Young, I always loved you, but I’m afraid I hate you now.”

Val continued speaking about his past loves, explaining that Cindy helped him get through his 1996 divorce from actress Joanne Whalley, with whom he has two children: 28-year-old Mercedes and 24-year-old Jack. Meanwhile, he revealed that Angie (whom he dated in 2004) was “perhaps the most soulful and serious” of his past girlfriends:

“When people ask what she’s like, I say she’s like other women and other superstars, just MORE.”

Hmm… we wonder if Brad Pitt would agree?

The Batman portrayer also expressed his gratitude for the Believe songstress, whom he dated in the 1980s, for helping him get through his cancer diagnosis in 2015:

“Once Cher works her way inside your head and heart, she never leaves. For her true friends, her steadfast love and loyalty never die.”

Thanks to the 73-year-old’s care, he has “been healed of cancer for over four years now,” and added that “there has never been any reoccurrence.”

He

“Cher was bashful to be busted but then couldn’t help laughing out loud at the audacity. Here we were, joking about beauty and desire, while I looked like a stunt man from Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs and, yes, while my life seemed to be in mortal danger. We laughed out loud before they finished with my vitals and shut me up with an oxygen mask.”

Kilmer continued:

“I am so grateful.”

We’re sure there will be plenty more juiciness in his memoir when it comes out on April 21!
