Tana Mongeau admits she and maybe-new-husband Jake Paul are “Internet trolls”!
As we reported, on Sunday night in Las Vegas, the two Internet personalities appeared to have tied the knot at the Graffiti Mansion, and then celebrated with a reception at The Sugar Factory.
On Monday, MTV‘s YouTube channel released a new episode of MTV No Filter: Tana Turns 21 titled “The Truth About Tana & Jake’s Marriage,” which documents the pair’s engagement and wedding planning.
Ultimately, Mongeau pretty much reveals the two got hitched “for content”!

Jake & Tana’s Wedding Got Canceled Numerous Times!
In the episode, it is revealed Jake and Tana’s nuptials were canceled a number of times.
In unaired footage dated May 24, 2019, Mongeau tells roommate Ashley she and Paul were supposed to get married that weekend, but it got postponed.
Before their ceremony on June 23, their wedding was axed ANOTHER time after a month or so of planning. Apparently, hotel rooms, flights, and car service were already booked — as around 40 people were scheduled to attend.
In one scene with her manager Jordan, Tana says Jake canceled because of all the press attention.
Tana Knew Jake Was Going To Propose Before He Popped The Question!
As we reported, while celebrating Tana’s 21st birthday at Drai’s Beachclub, Jake popped the question by bringing out a full cake that read, “Will You Marry Me, Tana?”
Apparently, Mongeau knew Paul was going to do the honors beforehand!
While speaking to Ashly and BFF Imari prior to her Vegas bday, Tana says in the episode she “heard from a little birdie that Jake is going to propose there.”
Mongeau even said the two were going to have “a wedding in Vegas” days later, but of course those plans got put on hold.
Afterward, while speaking to her manager, Tana dished this was “probably not dream-life proposal,” though it was on “brand.”
Open RElationship??
In the episode, while discussing her second birthday bash in Los Angeles, Tana said she and Jake “aren’t officially exclusive.”
She even suggested the two would “take the openness from our relationship into the openness of marriage” as they are still trying to figure things out.
Real Or Naw??
So here’s the million dollar question… did they get married for real or not??
Sadly, there isn’t a 100% clear answer.
Toward the end of the episode, when Paul comes over to Mongeau’s place to discuss the second cancelation of their wedding, Tana asks him if their marriage is going to be “legal on paper” as she had questions about their prenup.
In response, Jake says:
“We should make it seem like it is.”
Additionally, Tana remarks in a confessional:
“Everyone wants to know if Jana is real and what this is. And so we’ve just been kind of playing it up for the f**king people, because at the end of the day, we are Internet trolls. But at the same time, I’m starting to realize that this could potentially be very real, and it’s up to us how real it is, and I’m starting to get an inkling of cold feet.”
