The Enchanted singer received more good news Monday.
Fans who were supposed to have a boosted place in line to buy tickets in the November Eras tour pre-sale received an e-mail from Ticketmaster, offering them the opportunity to try again.
‘Congratulations, you have been selected to participate in a limited-time opportunity to request to purchase 2 tickets to Taylor Swift,’ the media giant wrote.
‘We apologize for the difficulties you may have experienced,’ they continued, ‘and have been asked by Taylor’s team to create this additional opportunity for you to purchase tickets.’
Lawsuit: More than two dozen Swifties have filed a class-action lawsuit against Ticketmaster, after they were unable to buy concert tickets, accusing them of fraud, misrepresentation and antitrust violations; seen in 2019
This action may not be enough to persuade the more than two dozen Swifties who have filed a class-action lawsuit against the conglomerate, accusing them of fraud, misrepresentation and antitrust violations.
According to the FAQ section on the Ticketmaster site, invitations to buy the tickets will be staggered by tour dates in each city and fans who receive the opportunity will have until December 23 to submit their requests.
Taylor’s single Anti-Hero from her Midnights album remains at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart where it’s been for the past six weeks. The introspective anthem is one of the few non-holiday songs in the top-10, beating out classics such as All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey, Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee and Last Christmas by Wham.
