Taylor Swift Dubbed ‘Most Influential’ Woman On Twitter

Taylor Swift was the most influential person of the year on Twitter, according to social media analysis company Brandwatch.

Swift takes the top spot for “The Most Influential Women on Twitter 2018” list with an “influencer score” of 98, one point ahead of Liam Payne, who took the top spot among men.

Although the 28-year-old singer only posted 13 original tweets in 2018, she emerged more influential than the likes of Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato and Ellen Degeneres.

Swift, who posts more frequently on Instagram and Tumblr, has 84 million followers on Twitter, while Payne boasts 33 million followers.

The 25 year-old former One Direction singer thanked the Twitteratti for the support they gave him on the social media platform. “Wow can’t quite believe this couldn’t have done it without you … thanks for listening,” he tweeted.
