Sussexroyal.com created by same firm who did Meghan Markle’s old blog – and they’re bragging about it

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a brand new website, which was made by the same firm who did Meghan Markle 's old blog, The Tig.

Article, a Toronto based digital agency firm, created sussexroyal.com shortly after the couple made the announcement that they would be stepping down as senior members of the Royal family.

The company flaunts representing clients like Meghan, 38, and Prince Harry, 35, as well as The Tig, which was closed down in April 2017, just a few months before the couple announced their engagement.

Article boasts that they "make sh*t happen for clients," which range from national brands to lifestyle influencers.

It's thought that the new website was first registered in March last year and has been secretly developed, with a helping hand from Meghan herself, since then.

Claiming that the site will act as a place where factual information about the pair will live, they explained the two would be taking a step back as they: "value the ability to earn a professional income, which in the current structure they are prohibited from doing."

It added: "While the contribution from The Sovereign Grant covers just five percent of costs for The Duke and Duchess and is specifically used for their official office expense, Their Royal Highnesses prefer to release this financial tie."

Although Meghan and Harry, who are thought to have "hurt" the Queen by their decision, said they would be spending six months in the UK and six months in North America, the site explained that they would continue to use Frogmore Cottage with the permission of the Queen.

The site also announced that the royal couple will no longer take part in the Royal Rota system, which it explained is "a way of giving UK print and broadcast media exclusive inside access to the official engagements of members of the Royal Family."

It continued: "The Duke and Duchess have chosen to revise their media policy to reflect both their forthcoming change as members of the Royal Family with financial independence, and their wish to reshape and broaden access to their work."

It also voiced their disappointment at how the media has regularly portrayed them as they said there has been frequent misreporting.

The site stated: "Regrettably, stories that may have been filed accurately by Royal Correspondents are, also, often edited or rewritten by media editorial teams to present false impressions."

While they obviously haven't been too happy by the stories that have come out about them in recent times, the website wrote: "Their Royal Highnesses recognise that their roles as members of the Royal Family are subject to interest, and they welcome accurate and honest media reporting as well as being held to account if appropriate.

It added: "Equally, like every member of society, they also value privacy as individuals and as a family."
