Summer Walker Leaps Up The Billboard Emerging Artists Chart

Summer Walker has jumped into the top 10 on Billboard‘s Emerging Artists chart dated September 7 with the help of her new single, “Playing Games.”

Walker soared from No. 50 to No. 8 on the Emerging Artists chart, reaching a new peak and entering the top 10 for the first time.

“Playing Games” debuted at No. 87 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her second Hot 100 entry after “Girls Need Love,” with Drake, which peaked at No. 37 in March.

The Emerging Artists chart ranks the most popular developing artists of the week, by measuring artist activity across multiple charts, including the Hot 100, 200 and the Social 50.

Meanwhile, hardcore punk band Knocked Loose debuted at No. 1 on the Emerging Artists chart after their sophomore album A Different Shade of Blue debuted at No. 26 on the Billboard 200.
