‘Southern Charm’ Star Cameran Eubanks Sympathizes With Husband’s Alleged Mistress Post-Denial

Rebecca Wash, the makeup artist who was alleged to have an affair with Jason Wimberly, has insisted to have been wrongfully accused, before addressing her association with Kathryn Dennis.

AceShowbizCameran Eubanks has come in defense of the woman alleged to have an affair with her husband Jason Wimberly. Shortly after Rebecca Wash issued a lengthy statement denying the hurtful accusations, the “Southern Charm” star reposted the makeup artist’s denial and called her “the victim.”

Making use of her Instagram Story feed, the 36-year-old wrote over Wash’s clarification, “It is so sad that this kind, beautiful and innocent girl had to be drug into the mud.” She continued to point out that she “signed up for this by being on TV,” before noting that Wash did not. She concluded by stressing, “Rebecca Wash is the victim here.”

Cameran Eubanks Defended Jason Wimberly’s Alleged Mistress

Wash herself broke her silence over the affair allegations through an Instagram post she put out on Thursday, May 14. “I have been wrongfully accused of having a relationship with the husband of Cameran Wimberly of Southern Charm,” she began. “I have never met Jason or Cameran Wimberly in my life. These hurtful accusations are blatant unfounded lies that have shaken me to my core.”

“I am not a religious follower of ‘Southern Charm’, but as a makeup artist and resident of the Charleston area, it is impossible to not know who the cast of the show is,” she made it clear. “I have never laid eyes or interacted with Jason Wimberly, Cameran, or anyone in their beautiful family other than on television.”

Wash then offered her thought on claims that Kathryn Dennis was the source of the rumors. “The allegations that this rumor was started by Kathryn Dennis are even more hurtful,” she noted. “I met Kathryn one time in July 2018 when I did her makeup for a photoshoot for a local clothing store. I have not seen or spoken to Kathryn since.”

“I have only known her in my limited interaction in a professional capacity, and to suggest that I am somehow associated with these allegations is dumbfounding, hurtful, and malicious,” she stated in the end. “I am so sorry to the Wimberly family that someone would cut so low as to attack the core tenant of anyone’s life – their family.”

Rumors of Wimberly’s affair with Wash were brought to attention after Eubanks announced she would not be back for season 7. On Wednesday, May 13, AllAboutTheTea.com reported that Eubanks made the decision to quit after learning that producers were plotting to bring up Wimberly’s affair, which was said to have gone on for two years, in the new season.

Later that night, Eubanks issued a clarification of her own. In an Instagram message, she assured, “My decision was made and given to Bravo months ago and had absolutely nothing to do with ridiculous and fake rumors about my marriage.” She added, “Please disregard any fabricated rumor. It’s a ploy for ratings and that’s it.”

The TV personality further admitted, “I can’t get too upset though because this is what you sign up for when you put your life on reality TV…and why I’m getting out of it now.” She went on to note, “Drama is needed to stay relevant on reality television and sadly false rumors about others are sometimes created. Make of that what you will and consider the source.”
