Snow Patrol Release Surprise New Single ‘Time Won’t Go Slowly’

Snow Patrol surprised their fans by releasing a new track, “Time Won’t Go Slowly,” and shared on social media that this is the first piece of music from their upcoming anniversary project.

The band posted on their website that they have been working in the studio over the last few months on a project “to celebrate 25 years of Snow Patrol,” and added that there would be “more to follow in the coming weeks.”

“Time won’t go slowly, though/I beg it to last,” Gary Lightbody sings. “I just wanna be here with you/That’s all I ask.”

Last year, Snow Patrol released Wildness, their first album in seven years.

The band were recently forced to cancel several upcoming shows due piano and guitar player Johnny McDaid facing a serious problem with his neck that required immediate surgery.
