Shawn Mendes Admits Hearing His Grammy Nominations Was Really Emotional

We all saw how Shawn Mendes tried to hide away once he learned of his 2019 Grammy Nominations last week and now the 20-year-old singer is opening up about all the emotions that he was experiencing that day.

If you recall, Shawn was actually one of the musicians who helped announced the nominations and was there live to see them.

“It’s literally like walking on clouds all day. It was just really, really crazy,” he told E! News. “It was a super emotional morning, because my entire crew and everyone I’ve worked really hard with for a few years was there.”

Shawn added, “We all kind of experienced it together. It’s amazing. That’s all I can really say about it.”

Shawn is up for two Grammys – Song of the Year for “In My Blood”, and for Best Pop Vocal Album.
