Selena Gomez Was Spotted Hanging Out With Niall Horan (and Friends) at a Restaurant

It hasn’t even been a whole week since Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber’s gorgeous wedding, and Selena Gomez is already out here letting it be fully known that she does not give single f*ck about about anything remotely Justin or Hailey related. Case in point: Selena’s thriving after the release of Living Undocumented, her Netflix docu-series about immigrant families. She just did a session at a recording studio—album here we come! And now, to prove how extremely unbothered she is by the Biebers, Selena’s hanging out with her old flame—Niall Horan.

Last night, Selena was spotted with a group of her friends grabbing a bite to eat at Osteria Mozza, an Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. After the dinner, Selena took a group photo with her friends, and Niall just so happened to be there….with his arm suspiciously around Selena. It’s a little sus, considering that they kinda/sort dated before! I’m just going to pretend to be okay with this.

Selena predictably didn’t post any pictures of herself at the dinner, but she did take a couple of seconds to promo Niall’s new song on her Instagram Story.

Racking your brain to remember what went down between Selena and Niall a few years ago? Don’t worry, I gotchu: Back in 2015, Selena and Niall sparked rumors that they were dating when someone allegedly spotted them swapping spit in a nightclub. “Niall and Selena were seen kissing in the middle of the club, in front of everyone,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. Niall girls everywhere were stressed TF out!

Those rumors ended up fizzling pretty fast though because Selena high-key friend-zoned him when an interviewer from Entertainment Tonight asked if she was dating Niall. Selena’s response? “Oh my god! No. I love him, I always have. He’s amazing.” Nothing really happened between Selena and Niall after that, but in 2017, Niall did admit that Selena was “really cute.”

Even though Selena is hanging out with Niall again, don’t expect her to jump into a relationship too soon. “She is open to dating, but right now she is solely focused on herself and enjoying life to the best of her ability and getting back to being the Selena that she and all of her close ones knew prior to dating Justin,” a source told Us Weekly. Welp…that’s that!
