NFL Player Sues United Airlines Over Alleged Sexual Assault On Flight!

The friendly skies got far too friendly for one NFL player who says he was sexually assaulted on a United Airlines plane.

According to TMZ, the anonymous player — using the alias “John Doe 1” — has filed a lawsuit against the airline after he claimed a woman “sexually harassed, assaulted, abused, and violated” him during a flight, and the flight attendants allegedly did little to stop it.

The athlete said the February 10, 2020 flight from LAX to New Jersey turned into a nightmare because of the woman sitting next to him.

According to the suit, she immediately harassed the athlete over the safety mask he was wearing. When he told her it was because of the growing coronavirus pandemic, the woman allegedly hit and elbowed him and demanded he move seats.

The player said he and his friend — identified in the court docs as “John Doe 2” — saw the woman taking pills and believed her to be under the influence. Apparently, Doe 2 got up to tell flight attendants about the woman harassing Doe 1, but they allegedly did nothing about it.

The NFL player went on to claim the woman then sexually assaulted him by groping and massaging his knees and thighs. The suit claims that Doe 2 once again got up to tell the flight attendants, but the United employees apparently still did nothing to help.

Doe 1 alleged the woman’s assault began to “intensify” when she allegedly started “grabbing and groping his quads and then stroking her hand across his lap towards the inside of his leg near his genitals.” The player immediately got up from his seat and begged a flight attendant to get the woman to stop, according to the suit, but the United staffer merely issued a verbal warning to the woman.

It didn’t stop there, unfortunately. The NFL athlete said the woman then straight up grabbed his penis and ripped off his face mask, prompting him to jump away and go up to the flight attendants. While he was up, the woman allegedly slid over into the middle seat and began to sexually assault Doe 2 as well.

According to the suit, it was only then flight attendants came over and moved the woman to another row without passengers. The player says both he and Doe 2 were given $150 vouchers by United following the incident, but they’re suing the airline and seeking damages for negligence, infliction of emotional distress, and more.

(Cuz um, yeah, $150 ain’t gonna fly.)

United responded to the lawsuit in a statement, telling the outlet:

“The safety and well-being of our customers is always our top priority. In this instance, the customer involved was moved to a different seat. Because litigation is now pending, we’re unable to provide further comment.”
