Motley Crue Biopic Set For March Release
Motley Crue‘s biopic The Dirt has been slated for release on March 22.
“Wow!!! Just left Netflix offices. Just saw ‘The Dirt’ movie!! F**kin awesome!! Can’t wait for everyone to see it! Released March 22!! Yea!!!” wrote frontman, Vince Neil on Twitter.
Titled The Dirt – Confessions Of The World’s Most Notorious Rock Band, the film has been taken up by Netflix and stars Daniel Webber as Neil, Douglas Booth as bassist, Nikki Sixx, Machine Gun Kelly as drummer, Tommy Lee and Iwan Rheon as guitarist, Mick Mars.
Directed by Jeff Tremaine, the film will feature four new tracks by the band, produced by Bob Rock.
“…it was just kind of weird hearing somebody say your words. It’s a bit of a trip,” said Neil, speaking about the strange experience of seeing oneself being portrayed by an actor.
Nikki described the new tracks as “real and raw.” “Everybody is playing like mad and the songs crush,” he wrote.
