Michael Jackson biopic on the way from ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ producer

A feature film is in the works about the life of Michael Jackson — to be written by the screenwriter behind the James Bond movies “Skyfall” and “Spectre,” with the producer of “Bohemian Rhapsody” backing the project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Jackson movie’s being penned by Oscar-nominated John Logan and produced by Graham King. The Jackson estate has granted music rights. The report said the movie would cover MJ’s career from the Jackson Five to his legal struggles stemming from allegations of child sex abuse. He died in 2009. The estate, which sued over the Jackson documentary “Leaving Neverland,” is also working on a Broadway show about the singer.
