Meghan and Harry Are Moving Out of London Sooner Than You Think

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly moving out of Kensington Palace and into their new home in Windsor this March, British news outlet ITV reports. The move would take place about a month before Meghan gives birth to her and Harry’s first child, as she recently told fans she’s due in late April.

Sources told ITV that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex picked a date in March so they’d have ample time to settle in before welcoming their baby. The couple will be relocating to Frogmore Cottage, a residence in Windsor facing Frogmore House, which is where they had their wedding reception last May. The property is still undergoing renovations for now.

Currently, Harry and Meghan are living in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace in London. (She moved from Toronto, Canada to live with him in the fall before their wedding.) At Kensington, the Sussexes’ neighbors include other famous royals like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their kids.

In addition to their London pad, Meghan and Harry also have a private country home in the Cotswolds, which is reportedly where they spend most of their time. The idyllic property includes an 18th century farmhouse and an attached converted barn, and is perfect for the couple to relax out of the public eye.

Kensington Palace confirmed that the Sussexes were planning to move out of London back in November. The public speculated that a rumored feud between Meghan and Kate Middleton caused move, but it was later reported that Harry “wants to escape the goldfish bowl of royal life” for the sake of his wife and future child.
