Kit Harington and Rose Leslie Attend the Golden Globes Together

Jon Snow and Ygritte have arrived on the Golden Globes red carpet. Game of Thrones stars and real-life husband and wife Kit Harington and Rose Leslie made a joint appearance at the annual awards ceremony for the first time this evening. He looked sharp in a black suit, while she dressed up in an embellished green gown with a sheer skirt.

Harington and Leslie met in 2012 on the set of Game of Thrones, where they starred opposite each other as Jon Snow and Ygritte the Wildling, respectively. After years of quietly dating, the two tied the knot in the summer of 2018 in Scotland with a service at a village church and the reception at Leslie’s familial home, Wardhill Castle in Aberdeenshire. Many fellow GoT stars—including Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams—were present.

Harington is nominated for Best Actor in a Television Series – Drama for his role as Jon Snow in HBO’s mega-series Game of Thrones, which concluded this summer after its eighth season. This is GoT‘s only Golden Globe nomination this year. Although the show is over, there’ll be more to come from the Game of Thrones world, as HBO has already ordered a full season of a Targaryen-focused prequel series.
