Kerry Katona had to cover her son’s eyes when Pussycat Dolls performed raunchy routine on TV
I love the Pussycat Dolls – they’re beautiful women with incredible figures – but I have to disagree with Ashley Roberts, who hit back at Ofcom complaints about their raunchy routine on Saturday Night Takeaway.
She argued they were expressing their femininity, but there are ways to do that that don’t require wearing nothing but tittie tassels. I had to cover Max’s eyes!
So I understand why people were put off. It may sound prudish and I’m sure some of you will call me a hypocrite considering I’ve done topless modelling, but I didn’t have kids then.
Now I do, I’m concerned about exposing them to sexuality at a young age. Good on the Dolls, but there’s a time and a place – and SNT is not it!

Don’t be jel, but this column is coming to you from the gorgeous Maldives! After what can only be described as the most stressful move of my life (seriously, we are never moving house again), Ryan and I desperately needed some downtime, just the two of us.
Since George died last year, we’ve been so focused on the children we haven’t had a single date night – and after that house move a date week was needed! Getting all the stuff packed up and sorted was an ordeal, so I’m very happy to be chilling by the ocean with a cocktail now.
We’re staying at the Ayada resort – and I can’t thank the staff enough for such wonderful hospitality and the people at Celeb Global Travel for sorting it all out. It’s paradise.
Lorraine Kelly revealed she once almost quit her radio job when they refused to give her time off to watch her daughter’s nativity play. I can relate to that – mummy guilt is so real and I think most of us feel it on a daily basis.
I was beside myself having to leave the kids to come to the Maldives. As much needed as this break was, it still broke my heart dropping DJ off at school before heading to the airport. She didn’t bat an eyelid, mind!
The children are being looked after by my best friend, they’re fine and I know this break will benefit them. They’ll have a rested, happy, healthy mum on my return!

Seeing that Piers Morgan is now “good friends” with former Love Island winner Kem Cetinay, having previously called him a dimwit, got me thinking about the celebs who have underestimated me.
There are too many to count, but I’d say the biggest one would be Basil Brush. Michael Winsor, who is the voice of Basil, is a proper thespian.
He’s ever so well-to-do and when we did panto together last year, he admitted he had me completely wrong. He assumed that I’d be a loud, unprofessional diva, but he later said, “Who would’ve thought we’d end up being such good friends!”
But then everyone who gets to know me realises I’m actually completely professional, wise and knowledgeable. Yeah, I’m still loud, but I was born with a big set of lungs so I can’t help that!
