Kate Middleton, Prince William & Prince Harry Join Queen for Easter while Meghan Stays Home
Happy Easter from the royals!
Queen Elizabeth kept up her tradition of attending the Easter Matins Service on Sunday at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, the historic venue that hosted the May wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and October nuptials of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank last year.
The Queen, who is also celebrating her 93rd birthday, was joined by many members of the royal family including Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry. The royal matriarch’s children Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew were also in attendance, as were her granddaughters Princess Beatrice, Lady Louise Windsor, and Zara Phillips, who was accompanied by her husband Mike Tindall.
Meghan Markle, who is just days away from giving birth to her and Harry’s first child, was not present for the family outing. The Queen’s husband Prince Philip was also absent from the occasion, as were Kate and William’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Keeping things colorful, the Queen opted to wear a light blue suit along with a matching hat with a vibrant pink ribbon tied around it for the family church outing.
Kate also opted for a similar ensemble, wearing a blue knee-length jacket with a matching dress, which she paired with a festive fascinator and a pair of nude heels.
William and Harry both chose dark blue suits to wear for the occasion, with William opting for a dark blue tie, while his younger brother settled on a brighter shade.

Last year, the Queen was joined by Kate (who was just days ahead of welcoming son Louis!) and Prince William for the holiday service. The couple told a pair of girls who were chosen to present the Queen with posies that George and Charlotte had been on an Easter egg hunt on Sunday morning.
The Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall also attended while pregnant, covering up her bump in a sky blue coat. In June 2018, she and husband Mike Tindall welcomed their second daughter, Lena.
Prince Andrew and his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, attended the Easter service, along with Eugenie’s then-fiancé, Jack. Princess Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence led the royal family down the hill to the chapel.
Anne’s son Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn, as well as Prince Edward, the Countess of Wessex and their children Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, also attended last year’s service.
