Kai and Nadiya: ‘We have hard times but we now spend spend every single minute together’

Strictly Come Dancing's power couple Kai Widdrington and Nadiya Bychkova first found love during the dancing competition in 2021.
Two years later, the couple previously spoke to OK! about their plans to get married and have kids one day in their first photoshoot.
Now, Kai and Nadiya have sat down to give us an update as they revealed what the secret is to their successful relationship.
"Always being there for each other no matter what even when it gets hard. We all go through hard times and struggles – that's what relationships are about," Kai, 26, shared.
He added: "But we're currently on tour together, so we're together every single minute of the day, which we love and it makes it a lot easier for us."
The dancer went on to share his thoughts over who is the most romantic between the two of them: "I think we are both equally romantic. We both love love. But I am a real hopeless romantic. A lady should always be treated right."
Back in February, Nadiya, 33, said that "marriage is important to her", as she shared: "One day I would like to be a wife, and extend my family.”
Kai also said: "It’s a future I want, too, absolutely. I would love to be a dad and one day be a husband and have a family.
"Ultimately, we’re not trying to start a family right now, but we are trying to create that family feeling among us and that’s important.”
And as we spoke to the couple about their recent campaign with Dune London, they said they're focussing on their careers before they start thinking about marriage and children.
Nadiya, who shares her six year old daughter Mila with Slovenian footballer Matija Škarabot, said: "Right now, we are focussed on our tour and making it work with everything else going on.
"When you're constantly on the go performing, that is all you're thinking about and making sure it's all as good as it can be. It's pretty amazing. It's living the dream."
As Nadiya and Kai continue their own dancing tour around the UK, the blonde beauty reveals she "never gets nervous", especially with Kai.
"I never get nervous. I never have. I am very lucky in that respect. I love what I do and I never want to stop," she shared.
"With our own show, I would feel excitement and unpredictability because it's our responsibility and you never know what the feedback will be and criticism can be the hardest part of what we do."
Speaking further about their collaboration with Dune London, Kai said it was a "no-brainer" for them to work with the shoe brand: "You've got to put on your dancing shoes to move. It's their mantra we really love. It was a match made in heaven."
Dune London’s ‘Let’s Dance’ occasion collection campaign starring Nadiya and Kai launches April 18th 2023.
