Julianne Hough Has Been Leaning on Brother Derek After Her Dogs’ Deaths

Julianne Hough goes barefoot while leaving a friend’s house on Friday afternoon (October 11) in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old entertainer was joined by her older brother Derek and another friend while stepping out for the afternoon.

Julianne made the devastating announcement one day later that her beloved dogs Lexi and Harley tragically passed away two weeks ago.

Brooks Laich, Julianne‘s husband, has credited Derek with providing the couple with comfort and support in this difficult time. He wrote a thank you for Derek and two other friends “for going above and beyond what we could ever imagine asking of you. There simply are no words to express our gratitude, we love you deeply and are so grateful for you.”
