Jillian Michaels Challenges Al Roker and Andy Cohen to ‘Intelligent Debate’ Over Keto Diet
AceShowbiz -The “Keto-feud” between Jillian Michaels, Al Roker and Andy Cohen is getting hotter. After she got attacked by the “Today” weather anchor and the “Watch What Happens Live” host for disagreeing with Keto diet, the former trainer of “The Biggest Loser” called them out and challenged them to a “civil debate.”
Immediately after her statement spread on the Internet, Cohen took aim at her on his Wednesday “Watch What Happens Live” show. He dubbed her the “Jackhole of the day” for disagreeing with the diet system and said, “Don’t feel bad, keto diet. A lot of people think Jillian Michaels is a bad idea.”
The next day, Roker joined the attack at Michaels with a post on his Twitter account. “So @JillianMichaels says #Keto is a bad idea,” he voiced his disapproval. “This from a woman who promoted on camera bullying , deprivation, manipulation and more weekly in the name of weight loss. Now those sound like bad ideas.”
On the same day she reacted to Roker’s and Cohen’s attack, Michaels opened up to TMZ that she understood why so many people were against her. She believed Keto is a trend that was supported by billion-dollar brands, therefore many people who sold the diet weren’t happy when she exposed its flaws.
Michaels also addressed her feud with the two men. “Look, Andy Cohen is not passionate either way. This is a guy who called Savannah Guthrie dumb for doing the diet and then called me a ‘jackhole’ for saying don’t do the diet,” she commented. “Why don’t we behave like adults.”
“We don’t need to name call, we don’t need to have personal attacks,” she elaborated. “If we’re going to have a debate about keto, let’s have a debate about keto. But of course, when I invited them to do that, both ran away with their tail between their legs.”
