Jeremy Clarkson slams climate change protesters as 'happy clappy eco vicars'

His words are a sharp contrast to when he previously made a passionate plea to the people of China to pick up their litter as he ranted about plastic bottles on a beach.
Sitting in a boat surrounded by rubbish in an Instagram video, Jeremy said: ‘And in half an hour this is how much plastic we have picked up.’
The star then began to rummage through the bottles before picking them up one by one while chanting: ‘Chinese, Chinese, Chinese, Chinese…’
Looking into the camera, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host said: ‘People of China, pick your f*****g litter up.’
The Grand Tour, co-hosted by James May and Richard Hammond, recently wrapped its third series with a fourth on the way.
Confirming work on the new episode was already underway, he told a fan: ‘I’ve been working on it for a while now.’
