Jason Momoa’s scary-good Elvis chats with Ellen DeGeneres’ Cardi E on Halloween show
The costume Jason Momoa wore on the Halloween episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” may move people to say, “Thank you, thank you very much.”
The “Aquaman” star appeared on Thursday’s show as the one and only Elvis in a pink, bell-bottom jumpsuit with a bedazzled eagle on its cape. During his entrance when he descended from the top of the studio’s stairs, making his way through the audience, he fully embodied the “King of Rock and Roll.”
“I am obsessed with Elvis, slightly,” Momoa told DeGeneres, who was impressed with his portrayal. “I just love him. My mama raised me on him, and I’m still obsessed. I bought a bike like him, and I got an old ’55 pink Cadillac.”

His talk show appearance was not the first time the actor dressed as the musician. Momoa revealed he also dressed up as Elvis as a 19-year-old in Los Angeles for the first time partying at the Playboy Mansion.
DeGeneres also joined her guest in costume. With back-grazing locks and long neon nails, the host dressed as Cardi E, an homage to Cardi B’s “Hustlers” character.
“E is for Ellen, it’s also my bra size,” DeGeneres said, making a joke about her exaggerated chest.
DeGeneres’ monologue was interrupted by the real Cardi B who gave her some twerking tips.
While on the show, Momoa revealed to DeGeneres he actually interacted with a “900-pound bear” for the second episode of his Apple TV+ series.
“You’re fighting a bear (in the show),” the comedian said. “There’s a bear you had to get to know.
“It has to get to know you and so… put a cookie in your mouth and feed it with your mouth,” Momoa said.

The “Game of Thrones” alum admitted he was scared, but decided to “trust the trainer.”
“Which was terrifying, like, ‘The great Jason Momoa died today. He got his face ripped off by a bear.’ ‘How?’ ‘He had a cookie in his mouth.’ I’m like, ‘It doesn’t make any sense.’ “
