Jacqueline Jossa admits kids put strain on her relationship with Dan Osbourne

Jacqueline Jossa has admitted having children with Dan Osbourne has put strain on their marriage, as she opened up for the first time about damaging rumours about his behaviour.

The former EastEnders actress, 26, said constant speculation about their relationship creates "conflict" between them – although she denied chucking him out of their shared home over recent claims that he kissed Love Island's Alexandra Cane on a boozy night out .

But Jac has vowed to bite her tongue rather than react to the stories surrounding their nearly two-year marriage.

"I've had moments where I've been like [about to respond to claims on social media] but then I'm like, 'delete!'" she told rapper Harvey on his Team Harvey podcast.

"It causes a conflict between the two people because I'm then going, 'ugh, so frustrating, why don't you just shut up?'. But you have to take the rough with the smooth. It's all well and good to look in on the outside at a three-second picture or story [and] to have an opinion on it.

"I found out I'd kicked Daniel out the house before I even found out why! I ddn't even see the first article, I was like, 'wait'," she laughed.

Jac, whose Lauren Branning character was killed off at the end of 2017, also said parenthood takes its toll on her and Dan's relationship.

"Of course it's challenging, it tests your relationships, it tests your friendships 'cos you're like, 'why aren't my friends coming to see my children?' You forget they have their own lives. You can't even run out to the shops, the baby bag has to be packed, the bottles have to be made up – it takes 20 minutes to get out the door," she explained.

The mum of two – who is also stepmum to Dan's son Teddy from his previous relationship with Megan Tomlin – then admitted she hates the dark side of social media, but feels she has to put up with it to make money.

"If I could delete Instagram tomorrow I would, but I can't. What do you want me to do? I don't have a job, I'm the mother of two children and right now I'm making money through Instagram. But it's a pool of negativity, it's horrible, it's awful," she continued.

"People say you put yourself in that position, but I don't feel like I did. I wanted to be an actress – didn't even realise you got paid, I did it for the love of it. I didn't want to be a celebrity, it just kind of happened."

Her comments came after Jacqueline shared a cryptic post about forgiveness – which many of her fans saw as a reference to Dan's recent boozed-up behaviour.

While he and Alexandra both denied they'd kissed, witnesses claimed to have seen them locking lips in a Manchester club.

"Put yourself first always. Ask yourself is it serving you or stressing you?," Jacqueline told her Instagram followers last week.

"I went to therapy when I needed it and even when I didn't feel I needed it and turns out, it always comes in handy and doesn't mean you've lost the plot.

"It means you are in control of your feelings and owning your stuff! Never be afraid to ask for help or even just go for a chat."
