Harvey Weinstein is ‘doing well’ after coronavirus diagnosis

Harvey Weinstein is still in isolation and “doing well” at an upstate New York prison after being diagnosed with coronavirus, a source said.

The disgraced movie mogul “is breathing on his own” and has shown no symptoms of the potentially deadly bug at the Wende Correctional Facility near Buffalo, the source said.

Weinstein, 68, tested positive for the virus on Saturday.

It’s believed Weinstein was infected at Rikers Island, where he was briefly locked up before being transferred upstate last Wednesday, an official had told The Post.

Weinstein is serving a 23-year sentence for raping an aspiring actress and sexually abusing a TV and film production assistant. He was convicted last month.

Following his March 11 sentencing, Weinstein was tested for the coronavirus at Bellevue Hospital after developing a cough. That test came back negative, a source had said.

He was then sent to Rikers last Monday, and kept in quarantine for “a few days” before his transfer to Wende, according to the source.
