Lee Riley and pal Jenny Newby have entertained fans on Gogglebox since 2014, but the pair have recently had a disagreement over a certain habit of Lee's.

The funny man, who previously sent fans wild by sharing a unrecognisable throwback snap of Jenny, revealed in an episode in May, that he likes to dunk his toast in his tea.

Lee held a cup of tea in his hand and was seen dunking a piece of toast into it without butter or jam, leaving Jenny in disgust.

The Channel 4 star took to the pair's joint Instagram page on Tuesday to recall the moment and shared a snap of him eating his wet toast.

One follower wrote: "That is wrong on so many levels lol. Wet bread is grim."

While another added: "Oh no it will so soggy I like crunchy toast so sorry lee i'm on Jenny's side."

The pals, who spent lockdown together in a caravan, have been firm favourites on the television series since 2014, when they joined in the fourth series.

Lee, 51, and Jenny, 64, have always filmed just the two of them, but on Friday's episode they were joined by Lee's partner Steven.

Viewers were surprised as Steven was not sat alongside the duo, but fans heard him give his opinion about a Sunday roast that Jenny recently cooked.
