‘Floribama Shore’ star remembers his grandma at Christmas

A new TV would make Codi Butts’ Christmas merry and bright.

“I mean, the biggest thing on my wish list is a new 65-inch TV, I’m really crossing my fingers for that,” the “Floribama Shore” star told Page Six.

Though electronics are on the MTV personality’s list this year, he will forever cherish a book he received from family.

“The best gift I ever received is one of those books that’s read to you, I got one last year. My grandmother wasn’t in good health, and she got us ‘The Night Before Christmas’ and she read it to us,” Butts said of his grandma, who has since passed away. “I read it just to hear her voice.”

As for forthcoming resolutions for 2019, Butts is hopeful to lose weight.

“My new year’s resolution is to always shed a few pounds, we’ll obviously see how that goes,” he said. “Every year I try to shed a few pounds.”

“Floribama Shore” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on MTV.
