The oldest daughter of Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy has reportedly been accepted into Carnegie Mellon University after retaking SATs following her mother’s jail stint.
AceShowbiz –Felicity Huffman‘s daughter Sophia has been accepted into college after retaking the SATs following her mum’s 11-day stint in jail.
Huffman was sentenced to 14 days behind bars for plotting to pay $15,000 to fix her eldest daughter’s college admission exam scores in an effort to secure her a spot at a top university.
However, Sophia – who had no idea about her mother’s scheme – has now proved her capability by retaking the exam and doing so well that she’s landed a spot at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, according to the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six.
The 19-year-old hinted at her acceptance on Sunday, April 26, 2020 when she shared an image of the university’s logo alongside two smiley heart emojis on her Instagram Stories. She also added “CMU Drama ’24” in her bio.
Sophia is hoping to follow her parents, Huffman and William H. Macy, into the acting world – and will soon be seen in an episode of Jordan Peele‘s “The Twilight Zone“.
The Hollywood couple is also parents to 18-year-old Georgia, who is going to Vassar College in New York later this year.
