Eddie Money Dead – Singer Dies at 70

Eddie Money has sadly died.

The “Two Tickets to Paradise” singer died on Friday (September 13) at the age of 70, his family confirmed in a statement.

“The Money Family regrets to announce that Eddie passed away peacefully early this morning. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our loving husband and father. We cannot imagine our world without him. We are grateful that he will live on forever through his music,” they said.

Eddie chronicled his health struggles in a reality TV series called Real Money, which premiered in April last year.

Eddie gained notoriety with hits like “Baby Hold On” and “Take Me Home Tonight” with Ronnie Spector, and released 11 albums in his career beginning in 1977 with his self-titled debut.
