Eamonn Holmes and Kate Beckinsale are apparently buddies and we have questions
Kate Beckinsale showed off her rather intriguing workout routine this week, as she stretched to the dulcet tones of Eamonn Holmes.
And, rather astonishingly, Eamonn noticed and the pair exchanged a little repartee, which has us asking so many questions.
Over the weekend, Underworld star Kate, 46, shared a video of herself getting all sorts of limber with a TV segment voiced by This Morning host Eamonn, 60, on in the background.
The English star is based in Los Angeles, so she’s either quietly flown back to Blighty for her workouts, or she’s streaming Brit channels from the US which, honestly, makes us love her even more.
Kate wrote alongside the video on Instagram: ‘Myf just can’t cope with the ballet stretch to @eamonnholmes and is guarding me at all times in case she catches me at rock bottom squatting to Alan Titchmarsh.’
Eamonn spotted the curious clip on Sunday, as he enquired: ‘Kate, what about I’ll come and do it with you next time?’
He added: ‘No, thought not.’
Even better, Kate replied: ‘Yes please as long as you don’t feed my dog wotsits. (sic)’
We have a feeling there is a backstory here and we would truly be over the moon if Kate Beckinsale and Ruth Langsford and Eamonn were actual buddies.
Fans of Kate thought Eamonn’s comment was a bit thirsty though as one follower chimed in: ‘Steady Eamonn steady.’
Rather brilliantly, in between her plies and whatnot, Kate still had time to mercilessly roast the trolls that love to take up space in her comments section.
As one found umbrage with the size of Kate’s feet, and wrote: ‘She’s cute, but I get annoyed how big her feet are,’ Kate quipped: ‘You might want to try some meditation apps. Life could be difficult for you.’
Another troll clearly having a rough day added: ‘You getting old. (sic)’
While we’re over here getting all sorts of outraged, Kate simply noted: ‘And you have false teeth. But are we better for stating these facts?’
She’s got more patience than us, we’ll give her that.
