Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Daughter Is Following In Her Dad’s Pro Wrestling Footsteps

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s 18-year-old daughter Simone is all set to follow up her father’s phenomenal professional wrestling career with one of her own. That’s right — on Monday, she announced she’d started her training to become a WWE professional wrestler! Here we go!!
A press release issued by the wrestling outlet indicates Simone is training down at the company’s performance center in Orlando, Florida, and she’s expected to soon be sent out to pursue her own career in the ring, following in dad’s (giant) footsteps!
In the statement, The Rock was quoted as saying (below):
“It means the world to me. To know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle, but to carry on that legacy.”
Awwww!
Simone will become a fourth-generation wrestler in a long family line — going back from her dad, to grandfather Rocky Johnson, and great-grandfather Peter Maivia, both of whom were WWE Hall of Fame wrestlers in their time. So great!
The teen shared her own inspiring message to Instagram to celebrate the achievement, too:
