Drama as Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston forced into emergency landing

A private jet containing Friends actresses Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox has been forced to make an emergency landing in California.

The flight was heading from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico but it has reportedly lost a wheel or tyre on take-ff and, despite making it into Mexican airspace, was turned back by the pilot after it was thought to be too dangerous to land.

The plane, which also has Molly Kimmel onboard, was diverted back to an airport in Ontario, some 60 miles east of Los Angeles.

The emergency landing was given an extra level of tension as the aircraft was still relatively full with fuel, which could have been potentially dangerous if the landing wasn’t executed to perfection.

The pilot had to circle for hours in the hope of burning off enough fuel before the aircraft could be brought down.

The trip to Mexico was part of Jennifer Aniston’s 50th birthday celebrations and after the flight was landed safely and the 12 people on board were transferred to another waiting jet.
