Drake Continues To Make Sound Financial Decisions By Spending A Million Dollars On An Outfit
Let me (quickly) introduce myself. I am Deirdre from Boston, and yes Ben Affleck and I are responsible for bringing Dunkin’ Donuts to the West Coast! I am an avid pop culture junkie and am beyond humbled to be writing for Dlisted. I hope to be a worthy garbage and bone collector who can sometimes put my thoughts into grammatically correct sentences. I’m not making too many promises though as English is my first and only language and I only went to college for 5 years and a summer. Ok. Two summers. But I did graduate with(out) honors and now I am writing for Dlisted, so to quote Scheana from Vanderpump Rules‘ tattoo, one of the greatest pieces of poetry and art to come out of our generation, “It’s all happening!”
Now onto important breaking news like Drake’s ability to put together an outfit for the bargain price of just under a million dollars.
Because people are garbage and the world is ending, there is a popular youtube show brilliantly called, How much is your outfit? by The Unknown Vlogs.
This is a WHOLE SHOW based on how much a person’s outfit cost. Drake went on to break down his outfit and tease that some new music may be coming out because $15,000 crocodile shoes aren’t going to pay for themselves. And we all know Rihanna is never going to give him the time of day in a turtleneck that costs under 2 grand.
According to Hypebeast this is a breakdown of Drake’s outfit:
Brioni custom suit: $11,000 USD
Tom Ford turtleneck: $2,000 USD
Tom Ford Trousers: $1,000 USD
Tom Ford crocodile shoes: $15,000 USD
Custom diamond chain from Jason of Beverly Hills: $200,000 USD
Richard Mille rm69 watch: $750,000 USD
Two bracelets (one gifted from his son, the other gifted from a fan): Priceless
Drake has been making some questionable financial decisions lately as he recently bought a $400,000 iPhone cover and bought a 1.4 million dollar car. Drake is also the mess who had a secret baby and texts with 14 year olds so his judgment is questionable. I am concerned mostly for surprise baby Adonis who will someday have to sell all these clothes on Poshmark or Thredup and get a fraction of what they’re worth. I can picture baby Adonis trying to cash his college Roth IRA and it’s just an unusable diamond encrusted iPhone case (iPhone sizes change, Drake!) and some used crocodile shoes. Though maybe that’s how USC takes payments from celebrities?
I will say that Drake’s outfit has inspired me to shop ALL of the Target clothing sections today (not just the clearance!) and maybe buy some brand name cereal. So here’s to reckless spending!
