Gemma, 38, informed her 1.2million followers about her fall earlier on in the day as she prepared to take to the ice rink again.
She lamented: ‘The night before dancing on ice I’ve had another fall today. I’m in absolute agony. I’ve been crying like I don’t know what.’
However, Gemma didn’t let her injuries dampen her mood as she joined forces with her Dancing on Ice co-star Brian McFadden.
She elaborated: ‘But I’m with the lovely Danielle. Brian McFadden’s gorgeous girlfriend. He’s going to marry this one. He’s going to, he’s going to stay with this one forever I can tell. This is the one for him.’

Gemma’s Instagram posts come after she had physiotherapy treatment on her knee ahead of her Dancing On Ice performance with pro skater Matt Evers on Sunday.
The CBB star fell in the final moments of her performance with partner Matt Evers and endured what appeared to be a nasty knock to her face and her confidence.
Viewers watched the reality star hold on to Matt and nestle into his shoulder after her fall but managed to compose herself for her chat with the judges afterwards – gaining the highest score she has received yet this season — 16.5.
Despite the accident, head judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean both praised Gemma for ‘working hard and improving’ since the previous week.

Meanwhile, Jane’s fall comes one week after she was seen clashing with judge Jason Gardiner, following his scathing remarks over her routine with partner Sylvain.
They skated to Kyle Minogue’s 2018 track Dancing, slipping up slightly during a piggyback move.
Jason told the actress afterwards: ‘You wanna go out Jane Danson? Because that lacked a lot of content for me. And the dance that you did do was very basic. There wasn’t a hell of a lot going on.’
His critique coaxed her to tell him that ‘I tell my kids, just do the best you can do. I did the best I could do tonight.
‘I take your point. I totally take it on board. I did my best. It wasn’t good enough…’

Ouch: On Saturday, Gemma admitted she was in ‘absolute agony’ following another fall, after getting treatment on her swollen knee ahead of Dancing on Ice appearance
Jason’s reply was that her best wasn’t good enough and she needs to be a better skater.
He said: ‘You can improve and it’s not good enough. You’re still not hitting things properly and hitting lines because your postural lines are terrible.’
The acid-tongued judge rounded off his critique with a curt: ‘Fix it!’
Jane snapped back: ‘Oh it’s alright, it’s alright!’
While the other judges were somewhat nicer to Jane, there was an overall feeling that she still needed to improve.
Jane survived the show, however, and will perform again next week, with Grease star Didi Conn leaving last Sunday night.
Dancing On Ice is scheduled to air on ITV at 6pm.
