Cuba Gooding Jr. on charm offensive after tiff with Claudine De Niro
Cuba Gooding Jr. was doing damage control after getting into a very public scuffle with girlfriend Claudine De Niro on Sunday.
As Page Six previously reported, the “Jerry Maguire” actor was celebrating De Niro’s birthday in Miami at Mango’s Tropical Cafe on Saturday night when she appeared to flip out at Gooding before knocking down a bunch of glasses across the bar and storming away.
Now we’re told the couple was seen just hours later looking happy as ever at Rockwell Nightclub.
“Cuba walked into Rockwell at approximately 1 a.m. and left a couple hours afterward,” an insider exclusively told Page Six.
The source added, “Cuba and Claudine were drinking and dancing at the table and looked like they were having a great time together.”
We hear De Niro stayed “happily by his side” into the wee hours of the morning.
The duo seems to be keeping up appearances amid sexual misconduct allegations against Gooding.
“They put on a show of PDA for everybody,” a source recently told Page Six of their Thursday night outing. “He only had eyes for her. He barely paid attention to the servers,” dressed in racy attire.
Gooding, 51, has been accused of sexual misconduct by five women in various Manhattan bars and restaurants since 2008 and faces charges in two of the alleged attacks.
The allegations against Gooding began last June when a 30-year-old woman accused him of grabbing her breast at the Magic House Rooftop Bar and Lounge in Midtown.
In June, he was arrested for forcible touching in the case but has maintained his innocence.
He was also indicted in an alleged October 2018 attack involving a second woman, which Gooding also denies.
He has not been charged in the other three alleged incidents.
