Chris Pratt & Katherine Schwarzenegger Are Married!
Congratulations are in order for Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger!
The fast-moving couple — first spotted together just back in June 2018 — is now officially married just one year later after going through a small, intimate ceremony in front of their mutual friends and close family members in Montecito, California on Saturday evening.
The ceremony itself actually took place at the San Ysidro Ranch in the area — which had only recently reopened after being devastated by mud slides over a year ago — and it appears to have been a quiet and private (yet very beautiful!) event!
Regrettably, the couple had to contend with rain for much of the day up in the central coast area of California where they did the deed, but by early Saturday evening the clouds parted and they were ready to walk down the aisle and profess their undying love for each other.
Per reports, Katherine walked into the outdoor nuptials “under heavy cover of umbrellas,” but even despite the weather, things went off without a hitch. She was wearing a simple, fitted gown with a long lace veil and a train to follow. The media was tipped off that something was afoot after the couple held what appeared to be a wedding rehearsal (and dinner!) the night before at pal Rob Lowe‘s house, which is in the area… and sure enough, on Saturday evening, Chris & Katherine opted to make things official and tie the knot!
Though the wedding was small, it was star-studded, as you might expect — much of Schwarzenegger’s high profile extended family was in attendance and celebrated along with the bride and her new husband.
Of course, this is now Pratt’s second marriage — son Jack, who he previously had with ex-wife Anna Faris, was in attendance yesterday as you’d expect. Now that it’s done and official, this is Katherine’s first marriage.
The couple moved quickly on this, first being spotted together just a year ago, like we previously mentioned. Chris only actually popped the question in January, too, so it’s not like they’ve had a ton of lead time to plan a wedding or figure it all out… but hey — guess it turns out that when you know, you know!
Congratulations to the happy couple! Couldn’t be more excited for them to enjoy such a lovely, memorable day together as they embark on a new life as husband and wife!
