Cher Earns Biggest Grossing Year Of Touring Career
Pop icon Cher earned over $100 million in revenues from touring in 2019, which makes it the biggest year of her touring career.
According to Billboard Boxscore, the legendary diva’s Here We Go Again tour and her Las Vegas residency grossed just over $108 million last year, trumping her previous top touring grosses, which she scored in 2002 and 2003. Cher generated $75.4 million and $68.5 million in 2002 and 2003, respectively.
The Here We Go Again Tour grossed $98.6 million, while the Classic Cher residency at MGM’s Park Theater in Las Vegas raked in $9.6 million.
The Here We Go Again tour, which came in support of Cher’s ABBA tribute album Dancing Queen, commenced in September 2018 and concluded in December 2019. The tour is set to return in March with 26 additional dates.
The Classic Cher residency kicked off on February 8, 2017, and has six more shows scheduled in February 2020.
