Caprice opens up about brain tumour: ‘It was a huge wake-up call’

She feels that the condition made her become a better person. 

The American blonde, 47, discovered the illness while competing on Channel 4’s winter sports reality show The Jump in 2017 and claims it was a “huge wake-up call”. 

Mum-of-two Caprice, who shot to fame in the 1990s, reckons the health scare made her appreciate life more.

She said: “I was so happy that I woke up. To say it was terrifying is an understatement.

“But I needed a wake-up call and it’s been a huge awakening. 

“I promised myself if I survived I’d change my lifestyle and I have.”
