BTS (Bangtan Boys) was recently involved in a car accident in Taiwan. The collision, which reportedly involved several vehicles, including BTS’ van and a taxi, occurred on an expressway on Sunday, December 9 when the seven-member group was heading back to their hotel following their concert at the Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium.

Following the news, the group’s agency Big Hit Entertainment released a statement on Monday to assure ARMYs that all seven members of BTS are fine. “After the concert in Taiwan, there was a minor car accident,” the statement read. “None of the members sustained injuries, and they have returned to their dorms. There will be no problems in their future schedules.”

Earlier, there was a speculation that the accident was caused by “sasaeng” fans who were following the cars of BTS and their crew. Regarding this issue, Big Hit stated, “It wasn’t the car the fans were in, but the car the members were in that got into the collision.”

BTS held their concert at the Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium on December 8 and 9 as part of their “Love Yourself Tour”. They will next head to Japan for a two-day concert at Nagoya Dome on January 12 and 13, 2019.

Leading up to the end of the year, the “DNA” hitmakers are set to perform at a number of award shows, including in Japan on December 12 and on December 14 in Hong Kong for Mnet’s 2018 MAMA. They are also scheduled to attend the SBS 2018 Gayo Daejun on December 25.

BTS recently added another international feat to their already impressive titled. They nabbed a Grammy Award nomination in the best recording package category for their album “Love Yourself: Tear”, honoring the work of art director HuskyFox for outstanding album visuals. The group became the first K-Pop act to score a Grammy Award nomination.
