Becky Vardy set to cash in on Wagatha Christie as Coleen Rooney vows revenge

Rebekah Vardy is set to earn mega-bucks from the so-called Wagatha Christie affair after boosting her Instagram following in the wake of her showdown with Coleen Rooney.

Pregnant Becky, who has returned home to the UK after cutting short her holiday in Dubai, could cash in on Britain's favourite Twitter spat now she's got herself a brand new fanbase.

The wife of footballer Jamie Vardy has repeatedly denied being the source leaking stories about the Rooney family to a British newspaper, after Coleen set a cunning trap to see which account was watching all her Instagram Story content.

And since her blistering denial of being the rat, 49,000 new followers have flocked to Becky's Insta to find out what she'll post next.

A social media expert revealed the influx of new followers means Becky is well-placed to start cashing in.

"Becky could command around £1,500 to £2,000 per post before this row. Now that figure will be £2,000 to £2,500 and looks likely to go higher the longer this row rumbles on," they told the Daily Star.

"The more followers she attracts, the more she could earn from promoting products on her account.’"

That news didn't seem to be cheering her up over the weekend, however, when she was spotted touching down at Heathrow in tears.

The emotional WAG held on tight to Jamie's hand as they walked through the arrivals lounge together – her first time back on British soil since the scandal broke.

Becky could be seen wiping tears from her eyes, wearing casual tracksuit bottoms and a grey jumper with her hair scraped back and no makeup on.

Meanwhile, people in Coleen's circle say she's poised for a showdown since carefully laying her trap and gathering all the evidence she needed to drop her shocking bombshell.

A friend of the star told the Mail on Sunday : "Coleen’s view is, 'Bring it on'. She has got the evidence – it’s all there.

"Coleen's evidence is bulletproof and she stands by it all. If Rebekah wants to sue, she's welcome to.

"Coleen will fight her and the proof is there. If it's in court, it's not ideal but Coleen will follow it through."

A spokesperson for Coleen also said she had "irrefutable" proof that it's Rebekah who has been leaking stories about Coleen to the press.

The representative said: "It is irrefutable that the leaks came from one account, and one account only."

Becky hit back at Coleen's accusations shortly after she made them on Twitter.

"As I have just said to you on the phone, I wish you had called me if you thought this," Becky wrote.

"I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for.

"If you thought this was happening you could have told me & I could have changed my passwords to see if it stopped."
