Ariana Grande covers up Pete Davidson tattoo with Mac Miller tribute
Pete Davidson should probably look away now.
Ariana Grande has covered up a tattoo tribute to her ex-fiance with a different tribute to her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.
After watching behind the scenes footage from Thank U, Next video, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the singer had altered the ‘8414’ tattoo she had written on her foot.
The numbers represented the badge that belonged to Pete’s late firefighter dad who died in the September 11 terror attacks.
But now the inking reads ‘Myron’, which is the name of Mac’s dog.
It’s thought Ariana adopted the pitbull mix after the rapper tragically died from an accidental overdose.
The new tattoo isn’t the first Pete tribute she’s had covered up since the pair split.
She’s covered other designs with a heart and also changed her ‘Reborn’ ink into a feather.
The singer has been mourning the loss of her ex, recently sharing an intimate video of him with her grandmother.
The video was taken just before they attended an Oscars after-party together in March – it was one of their final public appearances as a couple.
Last month Mac Miller’s cause of death was revealed – two months after he passed away.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Officer released the official toxicology report which revealed the rapper had fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol in his system at the time of his death, according to US site TMZ.
The rapper – real name Malcolm McCormick – had been reported as battling with substance abuse in the past.
Mac said just two years ago that he "hated being sober" and talked about how being rich meant he could afford any drugs he wanted.
