Ant McPartlin and Anne Marie dote on new pups but Hurley is nowhere to be seen

Ant McPartlin and girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett have been spotted doting on their adorable new pets as the presenter took a day off from Britain’s Got Talent filming.

The couple took their adorable Maltipoo puppies on a trip the vets for their vaccinations this week.

Ant and Anne Marie chose to extend their family by adopting the new pooches, named Milo and Bumble.

The Maltese terrier and poodle crosses, costing £1k each, are said to have brought a new lease of happiness to Ant after a rough year.

The Britain’s Got Talent presenter also part-owns chocolate Labrador Hurley with his now ex-wife Lisa Armstrong.

Ant was last seen out in public with the five-year old Lab on January 21.

A source previously confirmed to the Sun that Ant was in ‘no way’ replacing Hurley with his new pets.

"He just really misses him when he’s not around. He’s thought long and hard about expanding his pet family for quite some time."

Ant and Lisa battled over custody of Hurley in their £60million divorce last year.

The couple bought him in 2013 at a time when they were said to be trying for a baby.

Ant has previously credited his pet for helping him during his recovery from substance abuse.

Ant said: "He never tells me off and is always pleased to see me."

Strictly make-up artist Lisa is just as besotted with the dog, regularly flooding her social media feed with snaps of him and undergoing a paw print tattoo on her arm last year in his honour.

Last month Ant revealed to The Sun that he and Lisa were still negotiating the terms of Hurley’s custody a year on from their split.

"We still share quite evenly. Hurley’s welfare comes first and we both love him very much. That’s the way it is really."

A spokesperson for Ant had confirmed his 11 year marriage with Lisa was over in January 2018.

Mirror Online has contacted representatives for comment.
