Actor Michael Rapaport's Sexist Tweet About Ariana Grande Is Getting Major Backlash Online
Michael Rapaport, that actor who’s been in every movie your dad loves, is getting major hate on Twitter for making openly sexist comments about Ariana Grande.
Last night, he tweeted this picture as a promotion for his podcast, and wrote “Ariana Grande is 27 acts 12, you take off those boots she hides her legs in, the cat eye make up and the genie pony tale and I think there’s hotter women working the counter at Starbucks no disrespect to Starbucks,” which is totally rude and also totally unnecessary.

Even his own fans hopped in to be like “Bro, WTF?” One of them wrote, “Why? I mean, just why? Why say something so irrelevant, untrue and unnecessarily cruel about someone you’ve never even met? C’mon man. Be better.”
And another commenter made a point about the impossible beauty standards society places on young women. “Another old man telling a young woman her worth only resides in her looks and tells her it’s not enough.”
Then, when he realized he was getting a lot of criticism, he tweeted his response:
When I talk vicioulsy about The Leader of the Free World aka Dick Stain Donald Trump or Tiki Torch Tough Guys in Virginia, I’m a Social Media HERO, but a joke about Ariana Grande is SHAMING. EAT Dwycks SnowFlakes.
Stay Disruptive Stay Disruptive #DisruptiveBehavior @iamrapaport
And then this…

Mhmm. Yeah.
Ariana has not responded yet, but last month she did clap back at Piers Morgan for criticizing Little Mix for the sexual nature of their promotional materials.
also @piersmorgan, i look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do. i think that’ll be a beautiful thing for you and your career or what’s left of it. 🖤
So it feels like only a matter of time before she takes down this sexist troll. Can’t wait, TBH!
