2 Chainz Teams With Ty Dolla $ign For ‘Girl’s Best Friend’ Video

2 Chainz has teamed up with Ty Dolla $ign for the video of “Girl’s Best Friend,” one of the two songs from the EP Hot Wings Are a Girl’s Best Friend.

The video, directed by Sebastian Sdaigui, shows a woman dozing off as she watches a commercial for Ducey’s Trap Salon and then dreaming of running to the red carpet where 2 Chainz and Ty are performing with ladies dancing around.

2 Chainz raps, “Just so you know Dwayne Carter that my best man / I ain’t playing so no switching to the next plan! / I need insurance on the chains, damn I need a neck plan / Then I told shawty, ‘You ain’t really with the X-Games!'”

He then sings with Ty Dolla in unison, “I’ma buy some diamonds! / They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend!”

2 Chainz recently appeared on the Creed II soundtrack alongside Eearz and ScHoolboy Q for the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced “Kill ‘Em With Success.”
