North West Wore Red Lipstick and Twitter Doesn't Know What to Think

A few days have passed since the sensory overload that was the Kardashian/Jenner/West Christmas Eve party this year. And now that the fake snow has settled and the Internet has moved on from the man-made sledding mountain, Khloe and Kylie’s glam mommy-daughter matching outfits, and the decked out dinner venue that rivaled Whoville, they’ve now turned their focus to something else: North’s red lipstick.
Kim shared a few photo series via Twitter, recapping the fun they had at their celeb-packed holiday party (did I mentioned John Legend was the entertainment for the night?), and one of which features Kim and her hubs and kiddos. In what I’ll refer to as the unofficial 2018 West holiday card, 5-year-old North is wearing all black with a pop of red on her lips. See for yourself:

One Twitter user tweeted that the look was iconic, to which Kim responded explaining that the shade is from an upcoming lipstick launch from her brand, KKW Beauty.

She was quick to follow up that North picked it out to wear for herself, but of course, the Internet was quick to respond with *opinions* about North wearing lipstick in general.

Some see no harm in wearing lipstick because they too did the same thing as kids, while others argue she’s too young or that she shouldn’t be helping Kim sell her products.
Kim’s mentioned many times before how much North loves to play with makeup and how she’s a huge fan of YouTuber James Charles. So, you know, to those who argue that Kim makes North play with makeup, clearly that’s not the case here.

Kim has yet to respond to the haters, but, in the end, she and Kanye know what’s best for their kids. All the outside commentary is just noise.
