Liverpool ‘unlikely to tie down Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino to new deals as star trio prepare to break up'

LIVERPOOL are reportedly set to break up their iconic front three of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

The Anfield trio are all out of contract in 2023.

And Goal claims Liverpool are unlikely to hand new deals to all three stars as they would have to break their strict wage structure.

Salah, 29, Mane, 30, and Firmino, 30, were the driving forces behind Liverpool’s 2019 Champions League win.

They also starred together as the Reds scooped their first-ever Premier League title a year later.

But with Diogo Jota, 25, and Luis Diaz, 25, bursting into Jurgen Klopp’s side this season, at least one of them looks likely to leave this summer.

Mane, who has 118 goals in 265 for Liverpool, is already thought to be a top target for Bayern Munich.

And he is also reportedly open to joining Barcelona, who are seeking a big-name signing.

Meanwhile, Salah – scorer of 155 goals in 250 outings – is thought to be Liverpool’s priority for a contract renewal.

However, he is yet to commit his future after declaring last month: “It’s not all about money.”

As for Firmino, who has 98 goals in 323 games, he has been the main victim of Jota and Diaz’s emergences.

The injury-prone Brazilian has played just 18 times in the league this term and would be the most likely to move on.

Klopp would love all three to stay put after committing his own future until 2026.

But he is hopeful of keeping Salah and Mane at least.

Klopp declared: “You have to ask the boys. If (me signing a new deal) is a positive sign for the boys, great, but I don’t think it will be decisive.
