Zac Efron transforms into Killer for Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile trailer

The chilling trailer for the upcoming Ted Bundy biopic on Netflix saw High School Musical star Zac Efron portray one of one of the most notorious murderer’s in criminal history.

Ted Bundy admitted to killing 30 women, spread over five years and seven States, as well as escaping prison twice during his various periods of incarceration.

Now, over 40 years later, Netflix has created an epic biopic that’s release will coincide with the 30th anniversary of his execution in 1989.

In the lead-up to the debut the chilling trailer that was released on Tuesday, saw Zac Efron terrify as he transformed into the ruthless killer.

Chilling snippets from the film teased audiences with multiple eerie moments, including a stoney-faced Zac Efron being asked whether he was the killer.

Zac is seen to bluntly reply: “No” in a chilling phone call scene.

The teaser has a much darker tone in comparison to it’s initial trailer after it was accused of glamourising Ted Bundy himself.

Other big names include Kaya Scodelario, John Malkovich, and Jeffrey Donovan will also appear in the film.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile will be released in UK cinemas next month.
