GMB’s Kate Garraway shocks Richard Bacon with racy ‘penetration’ innuendo

The ITV Good Morning Britain presenter made a very cheeky innuendo as she hosted the show with Richard Bacon and Susanna Reid today.

And it left Bacon, who is filling in for Piers Morgan, blushing.

Susanna, 48, began things as she said they’d had some lovely comments in about Richard, who was making his GMB debut.

However, she said one woman had complained about Richard constantly taking his glasses on and off.

Bacon, most known for presenting Blue Peter, explained that he’d only just got glasses and wasn’t used to them.

He told Susanna and Kate, 51: “I need them to read, but not for the prompter.”

Kate said that there used to be a famous TV journalist who put his glasses on when he was making a serious point to a politician for extra emphasis.

She told Richard: “That’s what you should do – glasses on, then penetration.”

As the cast on set began to giggle, Kate protested that her comments were “innocent”.

Susanna quipped back: “Unfortunately your mind isn’t.”

Richard’s presenting stint comes as Piers Morgan, 54, is still away in America.

He joked today that he was never returning to the show.

Eek, we don’t think fans would be happy with that.
